“I had been waiting for the right time to get a dog for over a decade. After an assignment overseas ended and the ability to work from home presented itself, I got serious about finding my first dog as an adult on my own. Which was not easy because I was set on a corgi, and a fluffy one with a tail to boot. Not easy to find! As early as the initial screening form for prospective owners and the subsequent conversations with Jenna, I knew Blacktail Mountain Corgis was the right breeder.

From the start, it was so obvious that Jenna's priority was the health and welfare of the dogs and that this wasn’t just a transaction that ended when I picked up my pup: it was a relationship throughout the dogs’ lives. Plus, it was so easy to work with Jenna. She was available anytime I had a question, set realistic timeframes and expectations, and provided excellent guidance to me, someone going through this process for the first time. Not to mention how great it is to follow along on social media and feel like you get to know her and the dogs while you wait for nature to take its course!

It's only been a few days, but I absolutely know I made the right choice. Zelda is whip-smart, unflappable, and so cute it should be illegal. The first two characteristics are functions of her breeding and the socialization right out of the womb. The third is just excellent taste! I’d recommend Jenna to anyone in a heartbeat, if I don’t scoop up all the puppies first.”
